Meet the Artist

Hello! My name is Lexie and I am an up and coming artist from Chicago Illinois. My work is inspired by gothic horror, the uncanny, nature, and the cute. I began drawing at a young age. After taking inspiration from a comic where dogs fight gigantic bears. A lot of my early work focused on animal characters. Here I would illustrate and write their stories. By my teen years this work would develop into a passion for making comics. Being able to create characters and their worlds is one of the main driving forces in my work. Which is why by my freshmen year in college I would turn to the video game industry. The immersion video games give to their audience

has always fascinated me. I view it as the ultimate way to have the audience interact and experience art. Since my second year in college, I have been studying and dedicating hours toward mastering this art form. Settling a spot in the world of concept art, I now create complex characters who can move an audience. Focusing not only on the characters visual appeal but

also on their importance in each story.
